                               1113 Edgar St., Spring Garden Twp., August 19, 2008 :: 1015 Hours
                               Truck 89-1, Engines 89-2, 89-4, York Twp. FD, York City FD, & Amb. 89-2 & QRS
                               with SGTPD. Burning food in the kitchen of this home was initially dispatched as a
                               "structure" due to neighbors seeing smoke coming from the interior. Burning food
                               removed, smoke ventilated. A house fire was prevented by neighbors. No one
                               at home. Fire Police provided traffic control. Units in-service by 1100 Hours.

                            3 Alarm Structure Fire, 3-5-7-9 Highland Ave., West York, July 15, 2008 :: 11:45 Hours
                            Engine 89-2, YAUFR, and nearly all area fire departments responded.
 
                           An electrical malfuncition was found to be source of the blaze. Ten people were
                            displaced as the result of the fire. Three firefighters were treated at the scene and
                            one transported due to smoke inhalation. Structural loss valued at $250,000.

                           MVA:
Ford Mustang vs. Ford Explorer | Abemerle & Rathton Rd., SGT
                           June 1, 2008 :: approx. 1600 Hours | YAUFR Station 89 & EMS 89-2. The
                           driver of a Ford Mustang struck and went out-of-control from the intersection
                           of Abemerle & Rathton Rd., sliding across Rathton Rd. then impacting a tree near
                           the trail path to Penn State York Campus. Extended removal of the patient due to
                           front-end damage and impact with tree. Hand tools and Jaws-of-Life utilized.
                           Extensive rear damage to a parked Ford Explorer in a driveway at intersection. 
                           One patient (driver) transported to the hospital with Memorial Hospital Medic.

                         Feb. 28, 2008 :: 17:29 Hours to 000 Hours+ | multiple city & county units responded.
                         Fire broke out in a row home quickly spread causing damage to 335, 337,339, 341,
                         343, and 345. White Rose Ambulance established rehab for responders.

      photo by Grantley EMS      Car into House 1243 Hill St.: Spring Garden | Mar. 5th 1940 Hours - 2030 Hours
                      
   A young driver lost control of a late model Ford Focus while cresting Hill St.,
                         became airborne, and struck a one-story home at 1243 Hill St. No injuries.
                         Extensive vehicle, house, and landscape damage. Gas meter near area were
                         vehicle came to rest. Co. 13, Amb. 13, Co. 15 with fire police and SGTPD.
